a pain in the bureaucratic neck
If you worked on a team that provided services related primarily to strategy and innovation- but you couldn't use the term strategy- what would you call it?
I hate corporate politics...
As you journey through life, choose your destinations well, but do not hurry there. Wander the backroads and forgotten paths. Seek out new voices, strange sights and ideas foreign to your own. Such things are riches for the soul.

Business re/alignment and development? business organization and product development consulting? Redefining and integration of corporate-wide business plans?
...A complete waste of time...
Just kidding.
The first word that came to mind is development, but it's not exactly business development. T-Rents sounds like B-School jargon. Yuck. What kind of development? IG2 Idea Generation Group. I remember when you posted your excitement about the position, then left us all hanging as to the nature of work you do.
You're the Chief Imagineer.
long term innovation
future based innovation
tactical innovation
stategery?
Thanks guys.
We also can't use 'consulting' and in Dubai at least (maybe this is everywhere?) Business Development basically means sales.
We're thinking maybe Organizational Developement- which encompasses everything, but it can be a little vague. Or making up some random name- like 'Imagineers' ;)
As far as what I do: My primary role is on the employee reward and recognition program/employee participation- but I also do a lot around innovation.
Thanks for your input guys!
As far as that, you may want to check out Tom Peters. He's written a number of books, such as the In Search of Excellence. I was reading it yesterday (I bought at the library for $.25), and there is a chapter on the nature of motivation.

Yes, use the imagineers! That would be cool and fun, although, completely ridiculous. ;-)
I think Disney might have something to say about that...
Did you hear the news? Disney just moved their Corporate Headquarters to Dubai.
I like makers of people doing stuff better-er
