Its clear from your vacant expression the lights are not all on upstairs.
So- it was pointed out to me last night that I am stupid.
I was using "Louie-ville" for St. Louis. Apparently that is wrong. I should have said St. Louie. But I don't like that as much. Hence- on this blog, louie-ville will always mean St. Louis.
Happy, Eric?

And here I thought you were talking about Louisville, Kentucky... (pronounced nationally: louieville; pronounced locally without consonants) and was wondering how drunk you have to be to like the town. I didn't figure you for getting hit over the head by a louisville slugger or for taking the bourbon trail... But I Wondered.
Maybe you've been confused by old musicals which include the lyric... "Meet me in St. Louie, Louie... Meet me at the fair."
Still, I think you've insulted St. Louis.
The proper nickname for the StL if you live there is "The Lou". Don't ask me why I know that.
